Weekly Messages

Sunday's Message, January 11, 2015: "Hearing the Voice of God"  based on 1 Samuel 3:1-10. It is a story about hearing the voice of God in our lives. Is this even possible? Does it happen audibly or is it something we hear within--or both? Our scripture describes how God called Samuel into his vocation as a prophet/priest; however, interestingly, we all have a calling on our lives to serve God. Come this Sunday and hopefully discover yours.  Listen here.

Last Sunday's Message, January 18, 2015: "Following the Voice of God" based on Matthew 4:12-25. Once we hear the voice of God, then what? The next logical step would be to follow that voice. In this message we will place the text in its geographical and historical setting to see how Jesus called his first disciples and how they responded. We will also review practical ways in which Jesus is still calling for us to respond in the 21st century. It will certainly make us "fishers of people."

Next Sunday's Message, January 25, 2015: "Words that bring Death or Words that bring Life" based on Proverbs 6:1-5. It is safe to say that almost everyone, if not everyone, has one time or the other said something they wish they hadn't. Amen? There is power in the words we speak. This Sunday we will search the scriptures to find practical ways to make sure we are not sorry for the words that depart from our mouths-- thus preventing us from being hung by our tongue. This is an important teaching moment that will benefit everyone. You won't want to miss it!
