Weekly Messages

Sunday's Message- January 10:  "The A.C.T.S. of Prayer" based on Philippians 4:4-7. Have you ever struggled with trying to pray? As soon as you start you begin to think about the laundry in the dryer or the oil change that is needed for your car? We become so distracted, don't we? Then, if we do begin to pray, we tend to rattle off a laundry list of needs and abruptly end it with a "whip, bam, thank you Jesus" and run out the door. This Sunday we will explore a practical and biblical way to not only pray, but to pray more effectively. This is extremely important as we embark on a brand new year.

Sunday's Message-January 17: "I Have a Dream" based on John 2:1-11. Many today ask whether or not Jesus was a real person or someone made up in the minds of the biblical writers. For Christians the real question is: Are we real about our faith? In this message we will see how Jesus wants to be part of our reality; how He wants to challenge our reality, and what our response to all of this should be. When we "Get Real" with God--He will take our ordinary and transform it into something extraordinary.

Sunday's Message-January 24: "Back to The Future" based on Psalm 71:1-8. We'll take a look at the psalmist who wrote Psalm 71. Now elderly and looking back over his life, he provides sound advice for the younger generation. This Psalm is relevant today as it was when it was written thousands of years ago. Therefore, it is important to learn from the experiences of our elderly. Their years of experience can help prevent the next generation from many ptfalls and failures.
