Jesus' monogram, the Chi Rho, appears atop a stylized mountain.  This image represents the Sermon on the Mount.  Among the parables used by Jesus in his preaching were the house built on rock, which withstands the flood and the house built on sand, which the flood destroys.  He also compared the Kingdom of God to a mustard seed (beneath the tree) which, though starting out small, grows to be the greatest tree in the garden, where birds make their nests.  Jesus called his disciples to be "fishers of men," represented by the fishing net.  His first miracle was turning water into wine.  The Chi Rho appears again next to a well, where Jesus witnessed to the Samaritan woman.
