Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem is represented by the gate and palms, which his followers spread along his path.  During the Passover Seder that we have come to know as the Last Supper, Jesus consecrated the wine (the grapes) and the bread (the wheat) as his blood and body.  We commemorate that meal and remember our Lord in the elements of communion, the cup and the Host.  During the Last Supper, Jesus provided an example for all of us when he washed the feet of the disciples using a pitcher of water and a basin.
