On September 6, 2015 we held a remembrance service for the victims of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
As part of our 9/11 remembrance, we recognized three people who laid there lives on the line for our protection. As we recognize these individuals, symbolically we also acknowledge the many who risked, and on many occasions gave, their lives to preserve our lives and liberty. They are:
Sergeant Russell Jones (WW II Pacific Theater)
United States Marine Corps, Retired
Captain Kenneth Ahlers
New York City Fire Department, Retired
Detective Peter Tannazzo
New York City Police Department, Retired
